Welcome. Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Aixa Wilson (pronounced ā-sh-uh) and I ran in the North Carolina 11th District Democratic Primary for the
US House of Representatives. I thank everyone that participated in the
primary process, whether you voted for me or not. Going forward, I
plan to continue serving the 11th District community in any way I can.
This is no longer a poltical campaign website, and is not being paid for by the Aixa Wilson for Congress campaign. In fact, I may close this website entirely and move to a different webhosting service, but I will retain the domain name and web address. Rather than narcissistic self-aggrandizement, I intend the following biographical information to provide you insight into my commitment to the tasks I undertake.I hold a Master of Arts degree in anthropology. For ten years, I worked full-time utilizing this degree as an archaeologist. Currently, I am enrolled in introductory entrepreneurship courses at ABTech as well as pursuing a Master of Entrepreneurship degree from Western Carolina University. These courses will help me found a non-profit organization. The first program I will launch in the non-profit will focus on economic development by helping military veterans to launch their own businesses.My advocacy policy for the 11th District
As a citizen, I do not have all of the answers. I have some observances on the POLICY page, but I am relying on the good, bright, hard-working people of the 11th District to guide me. Therefore, I implore you to be an informed and engaged constituency. I know the people here are independent-minded, intelligent, and often hesitant to trust newcomers. I will work hard to gain and deserve your confidence in my abilities and my desire to provide you what you want: the tools and protections needed for you to succeed.
